Descartes MacroPoint provides an enhanced adaptor that integrates with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) via API, automatically communicating shipment data across an expanded field-set between OTM and MacroPoint. It enables real-time tracking, dynamic ETAs, exception management, and proactive alerts directly within OTM, with the option to monitor shipment lifecycles through the MacroPoint cloud-based control tower. The adaptor automatically creates tracking sessions in MacroPoint and feeds real-time updates and alerts back into OTM to reduce manual processes and improve supply chain resiliency.
